About the Summer 2017 Public Interest Design Fellowship:
Over the course of an intensive 8-week Fellowship, Public Interest Design Fellows put their design education into practice by offering focused design support to advance community-driven projects and working in collaboration with real stakeholders.

The 2017 Summer Fellows – Ana, Carolyn, Christie, Kelsey, Kekeli, and Ryan worked with Ripple Effect to create a community engagement tool about stormwater management, partnered with Groundwork New Orleans to prototype a solar-powered bus stop, and explored what high-density and affordable housing could look like in New Orleans neighborhoods.

The Summer 2017 Public Interest Design Fellowship is made possible through the generous support of Eskew+Dumez+Ripple, Morris Adjmi, and the Sizeler family.
