Future Ground Open House
Come see the final proposals from the Future Ground teams!
Future Ground is a competition to develop design and policy strategies for vacant land reuse in New Orleans, hosted by Van Alen Institute and the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority (NORA).
Over the past six months, three finalist teams have developed and refined proposals for what New Orleans can do with vacant land today and into the future. Please join us on May 5th at Small Center for presentations of the final work from the Future Ground teams and a discussion of how this work builds on existing efforts to reuse vacant land in the city and where we go from here.
The event is open to the public. Drinks and light refreshments will be provided.
Please RSVP to Colleen McHugh at cmmchugh@nola.gov if you plan to attend. And feel free to contact Colleen with any questions about the event or the competition.
We hope to see you there!
