a community conversation on how spirituality has and continues to shape Central City socially, culturally, and spatially.

Join us at the Small Center (1725 Baronne Street) next Tuesday evening for “The Spirituality of (HERE)” — a community conversation on how spirituality has and continues to shape Central City (3rd Ward/Uptown) socially, culturally, and spatially.

Sharita A. Sims (@thearielaqua), our current featured artist for “The Atmosp(HERE) of Space” will guide the conversation. Joining her will be Brotha Nick Holmes (@uptowngatekeeper), Alana Harris (@alanaharrisnola), Big Chief Demon Melancon (@qadamawi), Luther Gray (@babaluther), and Pastor Cary Payton Sr.

If you haven’t made it by yet to see the current iteration of the exhibit, we’ll be hosting guided tours starting at 5pm before the event! Also, a reminder that we have extended hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-8pm until December 16th!! @thearielaqua and @jccotto will be doing additional guided tours in December, so stay tuned for those details!
